Janet Yvonne Hasty Swanson

Janet Yvonne Hasty Swanson, 86, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024. She was born on October 17, 1937, to the late Carlton and Verlin Helton Hasty.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Albert (Mattie Bell) Hasty, Delmas Hasty, Delbert (Bonnie) Hasty, Ralph Hasty, Lonnie Hasty; sisters and brothers-in-law, Imogene (Glenn) Dockery, Wanda (Charles) Frix; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James Ray Manuel, Charlie McDougle, Ann Swanson, Onedith Hasty; and son-in-law, Wayne Davis.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Rita Davis; son and daughter-in-law, Darrin and Jamie Swanson; grandsons, Trevor Clayton and Jacob Swanson; sister, Augusta Manuel; brother and sister-in-law, Michael (Elda) Hasty; sisters-in-law, Brenda McDougle, Charlotte Hasty, Kathy Hasty; brother-in-law, Lewis Swanson; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Douglas Hasty, Greg Hasty, Shane McDougle, Trevor Clayton, and Jacob Swanson.
