Janet Geneva Howard

Janet Geneva Howard, 85, of Kingston, Georgia passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024. She was born in Rome, Georgia on April 8, 1939, to the late Zeke and Willie Belle Hazelwood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Mitchell Howard, and daughter, Donna Lynn Howard.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Donna Howard; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Patricia Hazelwood; sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Michael Walraven; grandchildren, Rachel Bailey, Miles Howard, Zeke Howard; five great-grandchildren also survive.

Janet retired from Carriage Carpets after many years of service as a creeler.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Rev. David Daniel and Rev. Walt Walraven officiating. Burial will follow in Plainville Church of God of Prophecy cemetery. Pallbearers are Miles Howard, Zeke Howard, Ryan Withrow, Kelby Withrow, David Cooper, and Michael Walraven.
