Obituary

Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Corbitt Coffey, 79, of Calhoun, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 15, 2022, following three months of illness.
Mrs. Coffey was born in Lamesa, Texas on May 7, 1942, the daughter of the late T.J. and Anne Corbitt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Lee Coffey, son-in-law, Mike Garigan; granddaughter, Ashley Harmon; great-grandson, Rowdy Molla; siblings, Thomas Jim Corbitt, Joanna Corbitt, George Corbitt, Katherine Corbitt, Rev. Don Corbitt and Sonny Wilson.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Dawn Trilles and her husband, Dr. Ervin Trilles, Ramona Mosley and her husband Billy Mosley and Leslie Garigan; grandchildren, David J. DePerro Jr., Dr. Joseph Harmon and his wife Zahnwhea, Lauren DePerro, Katie DePerro, Alec Trilles, and his wife Sarah, Jordan McClintick, Melyssa Trilles and Tanner Trilles; great-grandchildren, Vada Harmon, Ella DePerro, Peyton DePerro, Harper Harmon, Grey DePerro, Wylie Molla, Ezra Harmon, Theo Alexander, and Kora Jane. Special friend and Maid of Honor, Shirley Childers; brother, Dean Corbitt; sister-in-law; Viola Corbitt and Pat Corbitt. A host of other relatives and friends also survive.
A service to celebrate the life of Jane Elizabeth Corbitt Coffey will be held Saturday, January 22nd at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Eddie Brannon officiating. The music will be arranged by Amber Lee. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include, David DePerro Jr., Joseph R. Harmon, Lauren E. DePerro, Katherine M. DePerro, Alec P. Trilles, Jordan L. McClintick, Melyssa B. Trilles, Tanner Trilles, and Deputy Robert Garcia.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 22nd at the funeral home between the hours of 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
