Obituary

James Lee 'Jimmy' Walker, 77, of Ranger, GA, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022. He was born in Chattanooga, TN on October 13, 1944 to the late Johnnie Lee and Billie Elaine Bell Walker.
Jimmy enjoyed life and having fun. He was a jokester and liked making people laugh. He loved his family dearly. Jimmy was proud that he served his country in the United States Army. He was active in church and always helped those in need.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mae Pendergrass Walker; children, Jimmy G. Walker (Donna), Michael Walker; grandchildren, Bryce Walker, Hunter Walker, Cade Walker, and Megan Whitaker. He is also survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow the visitation on Wednesday at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Pastor Tony Kimberly and Pastor Wendell Stover will officiate.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 10:30 AM from Chattanooga National Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bryce Walker, Cade Walker, Hunter Walker, Chris McDaniel, Shauna Seeber, and Gary Tessier. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Pendergrass and Delmar Ledford.
