Obituary

James ' Jimmy" Alfred Chastain, 72, of Fairmount, Georgia died Friday, November 5, 2021, after a brief illness. He was born on November 30, 1948, in Calhoun, Georgia to the late James and Gail Chastain. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elaine Nicholson Chastain in 2020; son, Jody Chastain; sister, Sharon Reynolds.
He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Lamar and Tonya Chastain, granddaughter, Savannah Chastain.
To honor his wishes his body was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
