James Darrin Holt

James Darrin Holt, 54, of Fairmount, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026. He was born in Cartersville, Georgia, on May 20, 1972, to the late Raymond Holt and Gladys Lavera Boring. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, V.N. and Beatrice Holt, Nanny Edna Gravely; brother, Mark Holt.

He is survived by his brothers, Chuck (Tina Anderson) Holt, Brian Boring, Kenneth Boring; step-father, Billy and Jennie Boring; nieces and nephews, Tyler and Jada Lackey, Joseph (Jessica) Lee, Brittany Long, Brooke Holt, Emily Reeves, Madison Holt, Morgan Holt; cousins, Justin Mulkey, Tony Mulkey, Teresa Mulkey, Jamie Miller, Jennifer Cooper.

James was a skilled electrician and was very good at his job. He had a big heart and would help anyone. He had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Brittany Long officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Church of God Cemetery. Pallbearers are Justin Mulkey, Justin Long, Brian Long, David Holt, Nathan Holt, and Joseph Lee.
