James Bunyan “Buck” Bailey

James Bunyan "Buck" Bailey Jr., 85, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025. He was born on October 2, 1939, to the late James Bunyan Bailey Sr. and Norma Jean Bailey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Thacker; son-in-law, Lee Bell; and brother-in-law, Edward Holbrook.

James is survived by his wife, Isabel B. Bailey; sons and daughter-in-law, James Howard and Donna Bailey, John Bailey; daughter, Trina Bell; sister, Jean Holbrook; grandchildren, Chase Bailey, Brianna Bailey, Olivia Bailey, Jake Williams, and Bailey Williams.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery.
