Obituary

Amylia Alexis Cruz Pinckney was born on November 27, 2022 at AdventHealth Gordon, Calhoun, GA. Amylia, weighing 8lb 9 oz and 20.5" long, is the answer to her parents prayers as they awaited her birth with joyful expectation. She is the beloved daughter of Aliajah Pinckney (Calhoun, GA) and Camila Cruz (Calhoun, GA). During her brief visit on earth, she was surrounded by her loving family and touched so many lives as sometimes, its the smallest things that take up the most room in our hearts. Ediel Valentin Sanchez and Mahki Baxter are proud to be Amylias godfathers.
Amylia is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Terry Bateman and maternal grandfather Alexis Cruz. In addition to being survived by her loving parents Aliajah and Camila, Amylia is also survived by her great grandmothers Debbie Bateman (paternal), Betsy Milln, and Noemi Betancourt (maternal), grandmothers Cecilia Gonzalez (paternal) and Carmen Aponte (maternal), paternal grandfather Christopher Pinckney, aunts Talia, Tayana, Takia, Ebony, and Asia (paternal), uncles Christopher, Marcus, Makhi, Emmett, Josiah (paternal), and Jayden Aponte (maternal) as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Camila and Aliajah would like to thank Camilas aunt and uncle, Jose and Milagro Poll, the AdventHealth Gordon medical team, along with a special thanks to nurses Amber, Rebecca, Angie, Bailey, Jasmine, and Lauren E. for the compassion and support extended to their family.
A celebration of life service will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:30am until the chapel service hour at 1pm with Pastor Erick Ralec officiating. Interment will follow at Fain Cemetery. Serving as pallbearer will be Amylias father, Aliajah. All are invited to join the family as they celebrate the precious life of Amylia Alexis Cruz Pinckney. Adems de ser sobrevivida por sus amorosos padres Aliajah y Camila, a Amylia tambin le sobreviven sus bisabuelas Debbie Bateman (paterna), Betsy Millan y Noem Betancourt (materna), sus abuelas Cecilia Gonzlez (paterna) y Carmen Aponte (materna), su abuelo paterno Christopher Pinckney, sus tas Talia, Tayana, Takia, Ebony y Asia (paterna), sus tos Christopher, Marcus, Makhi, Emmett, Josiah (paterno), y Jayden Aponte (maternal), as como una gran cantidad de familiares y amigos.
Camila y Aliajah desean agradecer a la ta y el to de Camila, Jos y Milagro Poll, al equipo mdico de AdventHealth Gordon, junto con un agradecimiento especial a las enfermeras Amber, Rebecca, Angie, Bailey, Jasmine y Lauren E. por la compasin y el apoyo brindados a su familia.
Un servicio de celebracin de vida se llevar a cabo el lunes 5 de diciembre de 2022 en Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. El velorio se llevar a cabo desde las 11:30 a.m. hasta la hora del servicio de la capilla a la 1 p.m. con el pastor Erick Ralec oficiando. El entierro seguir en el cementerio de Fain. Sirviendo como portador del fretro estar el padre de Amylia, Aliajah. Todos estn invitados a unirse a la familia mientras celebran la preciosa vida de Amylia Alexis Cruz Pinckney.
