Inez Young Worley

Inez Young Worley, 94, of Plainville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Plainville, Georgia on July 26, 1930, to the late Albert and Erin Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, L.A. Thomas in 1965, and W.V. Worley in 2009; brothers, Doyle Young and Dale Young. 

Prior to retirement, she was employed by Harbin Drug Company  for over 20 years.

She is survived by her children, Ronnie (Sue) Thomas and Deborah (Charlie) Dempsey; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; sister, Glenda Wilson and her husband Eddie;  brother, Clyde Young; nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Meadowdale Church.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 2:00 PM from Meadowdale Church with Revs. Adam Ganong and Drew Startup officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery. The Deacons of the church will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the Senior Adult Class at Meadowdale and the members of the Mellowdalians.
