Obituary

Howard Lanham "aka Big Bobby", 69, of Calhoun, Georgia died Monday, September 6, 2021. He was born on March 3, 1952, in Bartow County to the late Howard Clinton Sr. and Bertha Rachel Lanham. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Martha Sue Flanagan Lanham; son, Joseph Shawn Lanham; brothers, Euland (Frances) Bray, Ralph (Linda) Bray, and Daniel Bray; grandchildren, Brooklynn Rose, and Eli Joseph.
He is survived by his son, Howard C. Lanham III; daughters, Cassie Folds, Tammy Hill, and Nancy Lanham; sister, Ollie Mae Gravely; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edman (Joyce) Lanham, Charles (Barbara) Bray, and Joe (Sandra) Lanham; grandchildren, Shanna Allen, Mason Hill, Joshua Newport, Joseph Leatherwood, Martha Mantooth, and Garrett Lanham; great grandchildren, Paxton Tyler, Preston James, Adaleigh Lashae, Harper Grace, Jackson Lee, Brayden Cash, Willow, Brayden, and Matthew; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral will be conducted Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Assembly of Faith Cemetery. Pallbearers are, Joshua Newport, Joseph leatherwood, Mason Hill, Chase Mealor, Johnathan Francher, and Allen Walters.
