Obituary

Bill Metcalf (Doc), 61, of Plainville, Georgia died Thursday, December 16, 2021, after months of declining health. He was born on April 17, 1960, in Rome, Georgia to the late Robert Red Metcalf and Jerrie Magdaline Kinsey.
He is survived by his son, Ricky Allen Metcalf; daughters, Bethany Michelle Chumley, Amber Leann Hammonds, and Brandy McKnight; grandchildren, Emily Metcalf, Kimberly Byars (Katie Height), Gavin Chumley, Ayden Chumley, Tristen Chumley, and Jaxin Red Chumley; great grandchildren, Karter Keasler; former spouses, Felicia Paynter, Tena Byars, and Glendal Holt; aunt, Eva Broom; cousin, Ralph Gilbert.
To honor his wishes his body was cremated and all services are private.
The family has asked that donations be made through Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home to help cover cremation expenses.
