Helen Virginia Barnes, 90, of Calhoun, Georgia died Wednesday, December 8, 2021. She was born on June 13, 1931, in Ramhurst, Georgia to the late, Charlie and Pearl Osborne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Sonny" J Barnes; sons, Stephen James Barnes and Robert Jeremy Barnes; daughter, Rhonda Patterson; brothers, Charles Osborne and Bill Osborne; sisters, Katherine Nance and Mildred Keener.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Clint Walker; brother, Bob Osborne; grandchildren, Shane Barnes, Daniel Putman, Courtney Barnes, Jordan Barnes, Josh Patterson, and Amanda Barnes; great-grandchildren, Anastyn Pratt, Kaia Morales, Joslyn Putman, Ty Putman, Corey Patterson, Taylor Patterson, and Stetson Ellis; more great-grandchildren who live in Ramona California.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 13, 2021, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating.
