Grapell Jeanette Hall Sheriff Headrick, 85, of Calhoun, Georgia, went to heaven on Monday, Oct 14, 2024.
She was born December 25, 1938, in Murray County to the late George and Rosa Mae Cleary Tinch Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Eldon Headrick; brothers, J.M, Paul B., Raymond, Bob, Grady, and Bill Tinch; George, Willard, and Claude Hall; sisters, Herlene Tinch and Nell Tinch Hall.
She is a member of Riverview Baptist Church and an honorary member of Heritage Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Renae Sheriff Pearce. Her grandchildren are Buck (Leslie) Seritt, Jason (Amanda) Seritt, and Justin (Carly) Pearce. Her great-grandchildren are Nathan (Holly) Seritt, Chandler (Hannah) Shaw, Emily Seritt, Ian Seritt, Cason Seritt, Brody Seritt, Alexandra (Alex) Pearce, and Oliver Pearce. She also has great-great-grandchildren, Lila and Wyatt Shaw, along with a host of nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much.
The funeral service for Mrs. Headrick will be conducted on Friday, October 18th, at 12:00 Noon at Riverview Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Scott Hall, Lamar Tinch, LaDon Hunter, Todd Davis, Brian Childs, and Bob Emory. They are requested to assemble at Riverview Baptist Church at 11:30 AM Friday.
Her body will be placed in state at the church on Friday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 17th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
