Grace Irene Breeden

Mrs. Grace Irene Breeden, age 89, passed away Tuesday, January 2nd, 2007, at Fort Oglethorpe Nursing Center following several years of declining health. She was born in Maryville, Tennessee on April 17, 1917, daughter of the late Ewin and Bessie Mae Kelley Burns. Mrs. Breeden was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Breeden, two sons; Bill Breeden and Jimmy Breeden; and by three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law; Marie Hughes and her husband Phil of Calhoun, and Debbie Stout and her husband Steve of Woodstock. Two brothers; George Burns and Bobby Burns of Tennessee; three sisters; Helen Malcolm and Frances Delaney of Tennessee; and Joyce Loftes of Illinois; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services for Mrs. Grace Breeden will be conducted at 11:00am Thursday, January 4th, at Chandler Cemetery, with Rev. Jamey Hunt officiating. Active pallbearers will include Jeff Breeden, George Breeden, Troy Breeden, Christopher Stout, Chad Davis, and Chad Wood. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday after 5:00pm.
