Obituary

Geraldine Cooper Stanley, 80, of Resaca, Georgia died Saturday, November 13, 2021. She was born on January 2, 1941, in Whitfield County, Georgia to the late Henry and Dorothy Whaley Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Stanley; brothers, Gene Cooper, Jay Cooper, Alvin Cooper, James Cooper, and D.L. Cooper.
Geraldine was a member and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church for 71 years.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Angie Stanley Johns, and Dottie (Ronnie) Stanley Ledford; grandchildren, Cody Johns, Brandon Johns, Taletha Quiroz, and Blake Quiroz; great-grandchildren, Austin Johns, Logan and Makala Johns, Jailynn Smith, Taelyn Finley, Trapper Finley, Arianna Reynolds, and Grayson Lee.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 2:00 pm from Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Sanford and Rev. Ryan Sanford officiating. Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are, Wayne Mulkey, Blake Quiroz, Trapper Finley, Brandon Johns, Tom Jackson, Scott Johns, and Casey Myers.
