George Aaron Nix

Mr. George Nix, age 66, of Port St. Lucie, FL died Sunday, April 15, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born on May 11, 1940, son of Andrew and Virginia Nix of Sonoraville. Mr. Nix was preceded in death by his father, William Andrew Nix and a brother, Ronald Keith Nix.

Survivors include his wife, Monique Nix of Port St. Lucie, FL, mother, Virginia Nix of Sonoraville, one brother and sister-in-law, William and Peggy Nix of Sonoraville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Vada and Ken Leonard and Carole and J. Guthrie, all of Calhoun. A niece and several nephews also survive.

A celebration of life for Mr. George Nix will be conducted at 1:00pm Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Martin Funeral Home & Crematory, Stuart, Florida. Visitation will be 12 noon to 1:00pm. Mr. Nix's ashes will be buried at sea at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HPS, Helping People Succeed Foundation, P.O. Box 597, Stuart, FL 34995. All his life Mr. Nix has inspired and helped so many people to succeed.
