Gail Tackett

Gail Tackett, 67, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from complications of bone cancer. She was born in Trenton, Michigan, on August 14, 1955, to the late Eugene and Selma Blair.

Prior to retirement, she was employed by Engineered Flooring in financial services.

Gail is survived by her husband of 49 years, Kenny Tackett; son, Jeremiah Tackett (Cynthia Little); daughter, Tabitha (Tobby) Johnson; brother, Kevin Blair; sisters, Carol Tackett, Cheryl Blair, Gina (David) Bielat , and Connie Mullins; grandchildren, Devin West, McKinley Tackett, Autumn Johnson, Kaylee Keener, Benjamin Johnson, William Hamilton, and Ari McCormick.

A service to celebrate Gail's life will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Sheriff and Rev. Greg West officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Jeremiah Tackett, William Hamilton, Randy Ward, Tobby Johnson, Matthew Chapman, and Larry Tackett. Devin West will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home on Saturday, July 15, 2023, between the hours of 10:00 AM until the funeral hour of 11:00 AM.
