Frank Seabolt, Jr., 90, of Ringgold passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at his home. He was born in Gordon County, Georgia and graduated from Red Bud High School, Class of 1953 and had lived in Catoosa County for 67 years. Frank served in the National Guard for 3 years and was a veteran in the United States Army for 3 years Inactive Army and Inactive Reserve. He was employed by Chattanooga Distributors and Wholesales for 25 years. Mr. Seabolt worked for the Catoosa County Department of Recreation for 30 years and helped in starting the Boynton Recreation Department in 1972 and was honored by having the ballfield named “Frank Seabolt Field”. In 1976 Frank started with the Dizzy Dean Association and helped start the Georgia Dizzy Dean Association as well as serve on the National Board of Dizzy Dean in 1990 for over 24 years, and was retired from the Georgia High School Athletic Association as a basketball official.

 He was preceded in the death by his father, Elisha Frank Seabolt, Sr.; mother, Madge Theron Clements Seabolt; sisters, Sue Smith and Ruth Greeson; brother, Ted Seabolt; mother-in-law, Emma Cagle and granddaughter, Kadie Ann Yates.

 Survivors include his loving wife, Ginger “GiGi” Cagle Seabolt; his little dog, Coco; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and James M. Clark, Sr; son and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Shonda Seabolt; grandchildren, Jamie Downer, Britney (Matt) Haygood and Jada Seabolt (Kevin Maddox); great-grandchildren, Brodie Yates, Brinley Haygood, Slate Haygood and Jace Maddox; brothers and sister-in-laws, Don (Karen) Seabolt, Randy (Debbie) Seabolt and Kenny (Sharon) Seabolt; sister and brother-in-law, Jean (Sanford Sisson); sister, Brenda Tomlinson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Teresa and Joe Card, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Debbie and Troy Norris; father-in-law, Junior Cagle; along with several nieces and nephews.

 A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 PM Wednesday with Mike Angel and Eddie Brannon officiating. 

 The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Tuesday and 11-1 PM Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway. This announcement made for the family, courtesy of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home.
