Obituary

Frank Brown, 92, of Calhoun, Georgia died Thursday, May 6, 2021. He was born on April 10, 1929, in Chatsworth, Georgia to the late Sam and Flora Key Brown. He was preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law, Freida Lynn and Ken Thomason, and several siblings.
Frank was a retired textile worker from Horizon/ Mohawk. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Odell Brown; sons and daughter-in-law, Randy Franklin Brown and his wife Felicia and Marty Brown; his sister, Sarah (Roger) Burnley; his brothers, Jim Brown (Ellen), Hoyt Brown (Virginia), and Fred Brown; brother and sister-in-law, Bro J.E. Glass, and his wife Lucy; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Chris) Thomason Patterson, Brandon Brown, Bradley (Traci) Brown, Jason (Sydney) Thomason, and Rachel Thomason Hoyle; several great-grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 10, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Concord Baptist Church. His body will lie in state Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the service hour of 11:00 AM.
The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at 11:00 AM from Concord Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Sutherland, Bro. J.E. Glass, and Bro. Isaac Johns officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great-grandsons.
