Obituary

Fay Dolores McKee went to her heavenly home on November 9, 2021 just 17 days after her 60th birthday. Despite her battle with COVID, her love, devotion and faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ never faltered and was ever present and witnessed by all her caregivers as she never ceased praying for family and staff despite the medical issues she was enduring. She was a loving caring mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend that will be dearly missed.
Dolores was the third child born to Mary and Lohnny Callaway on Monday, October 23, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan but lived most of her life in Dalton. She graduated from Southeast Highschool in 1980.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Callaway and a sister, Diane McAllister. She leaves to cherish her memory, her two children, her son, Darryl Dalton and her daughter, Amanda (Jason) Watkins, her devoted father, Lohnny B Callaway, two brothers, Frankie D Callaway and Carl T Callaway all of Dalton. Additionally, she leaves seven grandchildren, Brady and Chasity Dalton, Jacob James "JayJay" Mullins, Dalila and Karlie Watkins, Aaron Patterson and Austin Watkins all of Dalton. She leaves an extended family consisting nephews Shawn and Brian McAllister and a niece, Kassandra Callaway, several grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, aunts and an uncle who will greatly miss her.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be conducted on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Matilla officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers are, Lee Callaway, R.L. Callaway, Michael Hazelwood, Bryson Callaway, and Aaron Patterson.
