Mr. Eugene Talmadge Pulliam, age 91, of the Oostanaula Community, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, after several months of declining health. Mr. Pulliam was born on September 9, 1933, in Murray County, Georgia, to the late V.D. and Ora Jane Pulliam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Estalene Pulliam; brothers, Garry Pulliam, Melven Pulliam, and Rev. Vernon Pulliam; sisters, Mildred Brock, Geneva Gentry, and Ellen Hensley.
He is survived by one son, Nevin (Pamela) Pulliam; two daughters, Sheila (John) Guider and Jan (Eddie) Hilley; grandchildren, Philip (Elizabeth) Pulliam, Celena (John) Arrington, Jeremy Guider, Jodi (Jeremy) Daughtrey, Lauren Hilley, and Blake Hilley; great-grandchildren, Ian Guider, Logan Chastain, Anna Guider, Abbie Kate Chastain, Madelyn Pulliam, Ava Pulliam, Blair Daughtrey, Matthew Pulliam, Alex Arrington, Allie Arrington, and Abby Margaret Arrington; sisters, Ann Buchanan and Brenda (Jim) Godfrey; sisters-in-law, Barbara Pulliam, Janice Pulliam, and Shelby Pulliam.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Thursday, from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted by Crawford Greeson. Music will be arranged by Janice Ridley. Burial will be held in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Phillip Pulliam, Jeremy Guider, Blake Hilley, Ian Guider, Logan Chastain, Alex Arrington, Matthew Pulliam, and Kevin Holsomback.
