Obituary

Mrs. Erika Stone Miles, 79 of Dalton, Georgia passed away peacefully in her home on July 2, 2022, while surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Knieligen, Germany on July 30, 1942, the daughter of the late Franz and Frieda Kaiser. She was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, and sister. She was a huge part of the community. We can honestly say that once you knew her you could never forget her. She and her husband owned and operated the Chuckwagon Restaurant for 25 years.
Survivors include her loving husband Jeffery Jay Miles to whom she was married for 26 years; children, Gerald Lee Buckles of Edmund, Ok., Jeanette (Greg) Howard of Yukon, OK., Monnie Williamson of Holdenville, OK., Bobby Williamson of Ada, OK., Samantha (Marty) Kroll of Chatsworth, GA., Lisa Adams (fianc Billy Caylor) Villanow, GA., Paul Forsythe of Newalla, OK., Jeffery Patrick Lee Miles of Noble, OK., Carolyn (James) Henderson of Calhoun, GA., Joann Stone of Calhoun, GA; grandchildren, Gabriel Buckles, Emma Buckles, Margan Rae Howard, Haleigh Williamson, Erika Williamson, Sydney Williamson, Monica Williamson, Lacie Williamson, Bridgette Williamson, Raelyn Williamson, Amber (Brad) Lewallen, Joshua Morgan, Gavin Giddens, Alec Forsythe, Megan Marshall; siblings, Gunther (Rosi) Kaiser, Margaret Kaiser, Frederick (Valerie) Eger, Peter (Birgette) Kaiser. Several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Erika Stone Miles will be conducted Thursday, July 7th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 6th between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
