Elmer Gene Simmons

Elmer Gene Simmons, 66, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on April 6, 2025, at his residence. He was born on March 22, 1959. He was the son of Patsy Brackett and the late Elmer Simmons.

Gene is survived by his daughter, Rachal (Ryan) Woodall; mother, Patsy Brackett; brothers, Steve Simmons and Danny Brackett; sister, Tammy (Shawn) Veit; step-mother, Diana Simmons; and grandson, Hudson Woodall. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

To honor his wishes, his body was cremated, and no services will be held.
