Elizabeth "Ann" Ingram was born on January 5, 1947, in Englewood, TN, the daughter of the late John F. Duff and Elizabeth "Alberta" Samples Duff. She walked through the gates of heaven into the hands of God peacefully on December 11, 2025, at Advent Health - Redmond after two years of declining health. Ann attended Riverview Baptist Church. She was a cherished member of her family and community, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience. In additon to he parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Danny Ingram.
Before her retirement, Ann had a notable career in retail management with K-Mart and Fred's, where she dedicated her efforts to providing exceptional service and leadership. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family and friends, who will remember her warmth and kindness.
Ann is survived by her devoted daughters, Karen (Craig) McEntyre and Lisa (Jamie) Gentry-Coleman. She was a proud and loving Nana to Kelly (Jorge) McEntyre Arteaga, Cathy (Tray) McGee, and Nicholas (Caitlyn) Gentry. Her great-grandchildren further enriched the joy of her life: Levi McGee, Peyton McGee, River Gentry, and Liam Arteaga, who brought her immense happiness and love.
Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her brother-in-law, Davey Ingram, and her nephews, Chris Ingram and David Ingram. Ann also fostered many close friendships that deepened her life, leaving behind several special friends who will carry her memory with them.
As we remember Ann we celebrate her remarkable life, her unwavering strength in the face of struggles, and the profound impact she had on those fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends for years to come.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the team at Advent Health - Gordon oncology department led by the amazing Dr. Mayur Mody under the direction of Ed Moyer for the loving care they provided Ann. A special thanks to some of her favorite care givers, Elizabeth, Lisa, Stephanie, Julie, and Dr. Mody. She spoke often about how much she loved all of you.
The family will celebrate Ann's life with a private family gathering.
