Edmon Carl Lanham

Mr. Edmon Carl (Ed) Lanham, 67, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at AdventHealth Redmond in Rome, Georgia, following declining health.

Mr. Lanham was born in Rome, Georgia, on December 8, 1956, the son of the late Howard C. Lanham and Bertha Rachel (Dean) Lanham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kelley Rieffer; brothers, Eulon Andrew Bray, Ralph Leonard Bray, Daniel Roy Bray Sr., Charles Lee Bray, Howard C. Lanham Jr.(Bobby); sister, Ollie Mae Lanham Gravley.

Mr. Lanham owned and operated Lanham Roofing and Remodeling and Lanham Tree Service.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Green Lanham, to whom he was married for 29 years; brother, Joe Lanham (Sandra); bonus children Sonya Gordon, Kimberly Smith, and Brandy Hill and her husband Alan; grandchildren Haley (Odell) Worley, Skylar (Jessica) Pack, Zachary (Tiffany) Hill, and Ashley (Dustin) Edwards; great-grandchildren Brentley Worley, Reece Worley, Evelyn Hill, Storm Pack, and Sawyer Pack; and his close friend, Michael Roberts.  Many nieces and nephews also survive.

A service to celebrate the life of Edmon Carl (Ed) Lanham will be held on Saturday, March 30th, at 2:00 PM, at House of Prayer Baptist Church in Calhoun, with family members sharing.
