Obituary

Dorothy Louise Farrell, 86, of Calhoun, Georgia died Friday, November 5, 2021. She was born on October 5, 1935, in Opelika, Alabama to the late Albert and Susie Hammock Miles. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Melvin Leon Farrell; brothers, Lee Miles, Robert Miles, Ray Miles, and Ralph Miles; sister, Carrie Miles Pugh.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis (Rhoda) Bright, Kenny Bright, Sean (Wendy) Adcock, and Bobby (Tammy) Farrell; daughter and son-in-law, Robin (Dallas) Bright; grandchildren, Christy Brooks, Tommy Bright, Kenny Bright, Carrie Cowart, Daniel Bright, Caiti Adcock, Michael Adcock, Matthew Adcock, Caleb Adcock, Mandy Blaylock, Kimberly Steele, Shea Marshall, Bobby Farrell, and Kayla Farrell; 27 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The graveside service will follow the visitation at 3:00 pm from Chandler Cemetery with Rev. Shane Parrott officiating. Pallbearers are, Tommy Bright, Michael Adcock, Matthew Adcock, Bobby Farrell, Michael Taylor, and Dallas Marshall.
