Obituary

Mrs. Doris Parker Duncan, 89, of Calhoun, died Friday, July 1, 2022, at Gordon Health & Rehabilitation after several years of declining health.
Mrs. Duncan was born in Gordon County on October 2, 1932, the daughter of the late Taylor Parker and Dovie Dover Parker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Duncan; four sisters, Ruby Davis, Edna Gravitt, Willie Mae Hyde, and Lois Vrhel; four brothers, Howard Parker, Emory Parker, Charles Parker and Gene Parker.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Debbie Seabolt (Randy), Bruce Parker (Teresa), Brent Parker (Teresa), Brian Parker (Tina), Jan Parker Hammonds (Kenny), and Melinda Parker.
At Mrs. Duncans request, no service will be held and she will be buried beside her late husband, Bill Duncan in the family lot at Blackwood Springs Baptist Church Cemetery
