Donna J. King

Donna J. King, 66, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023, after an extended illness. She was born on December 24, 1956 in Calhoun, Georgia to the late Jesse and Virginia Fuller Sewell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandchild, Avery Gaines.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, David E. King; daughter and son-in-law, Domekia and Jeremy Gaines; brother, Reid Sewell; sisters, Arlene Bowers, Judy Dobson, Sherrie Childers, and Karen Sewell; grandchildren, Jonah (Jenny) Gaines, Ellie Gaines, Kale Gaines, and Anna Gaines.

To honor her wishes her body was cremated and a memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Jeremy Gaines officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the service hour of 1:00 pm.
