Obituary

D.L. Henson, 89, of Ranger, Georgia died Sunday, March 21, 2021, after a year of declining health. He was born on August 7, 1931, in White, Georgia to the late Dewy Henson and Delia Jenkins Henson. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years Bobbie Jeffords Henson; brother, Herbert Henson; brothers-in-law, Grady Goble, Richard Howington, and Winfred Howington; sister-in-law, Janie Henson.
He is survived by his daughter, Traci Henson; brothers, Harvey Henson, Billy (Judy) Henson, James (Joan) Henson, and Dale Henson; sisters, Rachel Goble, Shirley Howington, Mae Howington, and Kay (Larry) Quinn; special niece, Stacie Klocko; several other nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. DaRon Henson officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers serving include; Harvey Henson, Billy Henson, James Henson, Keith Henson, Jason Henson, and Rodney Henson. Honorary pallbearers include; Dave Gordon, Joe Trippett, Tim Morgan, Todd Morgan, Dan Kollenberg, Jason Griggs, and TJ Morgan.
