Obituary

Deborah Avery, 73, of Cartersville, died on April 11, 2022. Deborah was born on February 27, 1949, to the late Fred Allen and Emogene Bryant Allen.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles Avery; son, Kevin (Kristie) Avery; daughter, Kristy (Dale) Black; sister, Regenia Sloan; grandchildren, Courtney Avery, Zack Avery, Kalla Black, and Koldon Black. Other survivors include Kelly Carney, Kenny Carney, and Kaitlin Sloan.
Deborah loved to quilt and cook. She enjoyed canning, fishing, flowers, and gardening.
She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She loved her church and loved taking care of people.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral home.
The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Son's funeral home on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Jody Agen, Joseph Agen, Kelly Carney, Matthew Kelley, John Passmore, and Adrian Jefferson. Honorary pallbearers are Griffin Padgett and Tony Burt.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Deborah Avery.
