Mr. Danny Lee Watson, 64, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away at AdventHealth Gordon on Saturday, March 26, 2022, while surrounded by his loving family.
Danny was born in Pickens County, Georgia on May 6, 1957, the son of Frances Young Watson and the late Manuel "Shorty" Watson. Prior to retirement, he was employed at Springs Industries.
Survivors include his wife, Gayle Watson to whom he was married for 39 years; three daughters, Christi Martin and her husband Mark, Sharon Patureau and her husband Paul, Julie Cohen and her husband Josh; grandchildren, Kaylee (Justin) Gravitt, Bailey Hicks, Tiffany (Miguel) Avina, Chris (Jessica) Banks, Hayden (Savannah) Smith, Faith Martin, Josh Lee, Sydney Sorrells; great-grandchildren, Chloe Banks, Angel, and Nathan Avina; mother, Frances Young Watson; brother, David Watson; along with a host of other relatives.
Funeral services for Danny Lee Watson will be conducted Tuesday, March 29th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Blackstock officiating, burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park with Rev. Josh Pilgrim officiating at the graveside. Pallbearers serving will include, Mark Martin, Hayden Smith, Paul Patureau, Chris Banks, Miguel Avina, Angel Avina, and Nathan Avina.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 29th between the hours of 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
