Obituary

Danny Lee Shaw, 68, of Calhoun, Georgia died Thursday, September 9, 2021. He was born on October 23, 1952, in Calhoun, Georgia to the late, George and Dimple Moore Shaw. He was preceded in death by brothers, Roy Shaw, J.C. Shaw, and Jack Shaw, sisters, Anna Bell Ingram, and Edna Darby.
Danny worked for many years with Mayfield Dairy. His Christian faith was strong; his hope was in the Lord. With his family he grew up attending Salem Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Tim (Angie) Shaw and Eric (Kelli) Shaw; daughter, Keri Shaw; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby (Sheila) Shaw; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha (Joe) Darby and Wanda (Tim) Holland; grandchildren, Kayson Shaw, Gage Shaw, and Kayla (Jason) Brannon; special grandchildren, Kara Kown and Caleb Roden; special niece, Crystal Roden; special nephews and good friends, Johnny, Adam, and Chandler Shaw; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 13, 2021, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
The funeral will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Childers officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers are, Chandler Shaw, Kayson Shaw, Gage Shaw, Jason Brannon, David Roden, and Adam Shaw.
