Danny Beryl Cochran

Danny Beryl Cochran, 79, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023. He was born in Monett, Missouri, on January 24, 1943, to the late Rufus Beryl and Janie Linda Wilson Cochran. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Sam (Rhonda) Cochran and Phillip (Joyce) Cochran.

Danny is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila (Joe) Hobbs and Julie (Jim) McNeely; his loving wife, Barbara Jayne Duvall Cochran; sons and daughter-in-law, James (Carolyn) Broome and Jason Broome; brother, Donny (Susan) Cochran; grandchildren, Kaitlin (Aaron) Hrenak, Lynsey (Nick) Ralston, Taylor (Grant) McSparin, Raney McNeely, Jordan Riemann, Aaron McNeely, Joseph Hobbs, Jamie Broome, Kelli Broome, and Connor Broome; great-grandchildren, Jack Ralston, Brooke Ralston, and Kaden Hrenak; sister-in-law, Diann (Troy) Casey; nieces and nephews; and special friends at Bethesda Baptist Church.

Jayne would like to give a special thanks to Pastor Wesley Hunt for always being there for her and Danny.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Bethesda Baptist Church.

A memorial service will follow the visitation on Saturday at 11:00 AM from Bethesda Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Bethesda Building Fund.
