Obituary

Claudie Vee Parker, 88, of Calhoun, Georgia died Tuesday, March 15, 2022, after several years of declining health. She was born on October 26, 1933, in Gilmer County, Georgia to the late Jessie and Onnie Blankenship Hensley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Clifford Benjamin Parker.
She was a member of New Town Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa (Anthony) Blackstock, Carol Beavers, and Rhonda Michelle (Randy) Dixon; grandchildren, Autumn Gibson, Wendy Trundle, Cherith Locklear, Charity Blackstock, Lee Eaker Jr., Shonn Beavers, Audra Mills, Franchesca Barrett, and Bethany Clark; great-grandchildren, Anna Gibson, Ethan Gibson, Ashlyn Trundle, Brayson Trundle, Caylon Trundle, Ben Eaker, Sidney Eaker, Brody Mills, Dawson Mills, Aliyah Mills, Kade Locklear, Kylee Locklear, Kamden Locklear, Tristan Arrivillaga, Everly Arrivillaga, and Caleb Clark; brother, Jay Hensley; sisters, Geraldine Blankenship, Jenny Hensley, and Goldie Moss; special thanks for special friends who helped make her last days better: Alberda Prather, Linda Ollis, and Helping Hearts Home Companions.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be conducted on Friday, March 18, 2022, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Crawford Greeson and Anthony Blackstock officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers are, Brody Mills, Dawson Mills, Shonn Beavers, Ben Eaker, Brayson Trundle, and Ethan Gibson.
