Cindy Michelle Black

Miss Cindy Michelle Black, age 41 of Calhoun, passed away Monday, October 1, 2012 at Floyd Medical Center. She was born on April 13, 1971, daughter of Harold and Lonnie Haggard Black.

Cindy was a member of the Boone Ford Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Jerry Wayne Black; a sister, Joyce Black Thompson, both of Fairmount; Godparents, Gary and Annie Faucett; Godson, Alex Faucett; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Miss Cindy Michelle Black will be held Thursday, October 4th at 3:00pm from the Boone Ford Baptist Church, with Rev. Gary Quarles, Rev. Eddie Brannon, and Rev. Leamon Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be the Deacons of Boone Ford Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Echota-Vann Shrine Club.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Wednesday from 3:00pm until 9:00pm.
