Christina Blair Bartels

Christina Blair Bartels, age 27 of Adairsville, passed away Monday, January 5, 2009. She was born in Marietta, Georgia on December 19, 1981, daughter of William Clay Burgess and Lucinda J. Edwards.

Survivors include her husband, Jacob Bartels; two step-sons, Jacob Bartels and Michael Goodman; a step-daughter, Aszrian Bartels; her father, Clay Burgess of Butler, Georgia; her mother, Lucinda Edwards of Calhoun; grandmother, JoAnn Joe of Cartersville; father-in-law, Jonathon Bartels; aunts, Lillian Henson, Susan Zamora, and Patty Harper; uncles, Frederick Joe, Ricky Henson, and Luis Zamora; cousins, Amanda Combs, Leighann Henson, Brandon Zamora, Emily Jenkins, Ashley Ellis, Amber Joe, Rick Saunderson, Jeffrey Saunderson, and Kenny Joe; and her best friends, the Mulkey family. Other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service for Christina Blair Bartels will be conducted Friday, January 9 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the service hour of 2:00pm.
