Christa Charlene "Charley" Corn, 32, of Chatsworth, Georgia died Sunday, April 11, 2021 in Adventh-Health Gordon after several months of declining health.
Christa was a loving daughter, mother, sister, niece, and friend. She was born in Dalton, Georgia on December 16, 1988, daughter of Stephanie Manis Voyles and Jeffery Corn. She was a lifelong resident of Chatsworth and was member of the 2007 graduating class of Murray County High School.
Christa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Edna Manis; Uncles, Jerry and Quinn Manis; Aunts, Myar Dover and Louise Garner.
Crista is survived by her daughters, Lexie Delaney and Macie Wheeler; mother, Stephanie Voyles; father, Jeffery Corn; sisters, Savannah Baggett, Kindall and Riley Corn; grandparents, Tom and Dorothy Kida, Steven Manis, Glen Corn and Barbara Rawley; aunts, Rebecca (Howard) Stephens, Amanda (Ben) Jones, Tracy Manis, Donna Woody, Kayla Dutton, Christa (Bob) Fons; uncle, Stevie (Christie) Manis, Thomas (Carrie) Kida, Aaron (Kerry) Kida; great aunts; great uncles, cousins and friends.
A service to celebrate the life of Christa Charlene "Charley" Corn will be held Tuesday, April 13th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Crandall, GA. Pallbearers serving will include, Ben Jones, Johnny Voyles, Mike Stephens, Stevie Manis, Jimmy Hackney and Jesse Pasley.
The family will receive friends Monday evening, April 12th between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the funeral home and on Tuesday, April 13th from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 PM.
