Chet Carr

Obituary

Chet Carr, 61, of Resaca, Georgia, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022. He was born on October 1, 1961, to the late Andy Eugene and Opal Stone Carr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sara Rose Carr.
Chet was a truck driver for over 40 years.
Chet is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Patterson Carr; sisters, Janet Leigh Robinson and Carolyn Lynn Carr; nieces, Tiffany Nicole Kidd, Georgia Montana Robinson, and Emma Macy Gibbs; aunts and uncle, Ralph and Opal Sumner, Mabel Coley, Linda Stone, and Mary Frances Stone; along with many cousins and other relatives.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Skidmore officiating. Burial will follow in Fain cemetery. Pallbearers are Jason Etheridge, Brian Jackson, Scott Jackson, Cole Kidd, Ronald Gibbs, and Bradley Stone.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Chet Carr.
