Cherril Ann Gillette

Cherril Ann Gillette, 81, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2025. She was born in Traverse City, Michigan, on January 24, 1945, to the late Clarence and Esther Kirkpatrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gillette.

Cherril is survived by her sons, Clinton Gillette, Matthew Gillette, and Billy Gillette II; daughters, Kim Svinth, Kelly Gillette, and Paula Newlon; brother, Glen (Ellen) Kirkpatrick; grandchildren, Daniel Gillette, Joanna Ingram, and Evie Foskey; and great-grandchildren, Colson Foskey.

Cherril was a nurse at Gordon Hospital for over 20 years as well as actively volunteering at Healing Hands and The Voluntary Action Center for many years. Cherril was a very active part of her community and loved to help others.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 22, 2025, from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at Wesley Chapel Church.

A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM from the church with Rev. Greg Burgner officiating.
