Charles Edward Greeson

Mr. Charles Edward Greeson, age 73 of Calhoun, passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 at his residence. He was a native of Gordon County, born on October 18, 1937 to the late William Henry Greeson and the late Roberta Lay Greeson.

Mr. Greeson was retired from Springs Industries, and was a veteran, serving in the National Guard for 10 years. He was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Carolyn Garrett Greeson; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynne and Robbie Holland, Kim and Tim Mulkey, and Kelly and Chuck Casey, all of Calhoun; a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Leland Jackson of Centre, Alabama; and three grandchildren, Chris Mulkey and his fiancA
