Obituary

Ms. Charlene Gravitt, 92, of Calhoun, Georgia, died August 22, 2022, at Gordon Health Care following an extended illness.
She was born in Gordon County on January 5, 1930, and attended Bellwood High School. She worked in the textile industry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mac Melnoir Gravitt and MaeBell Knight Gravitt, her sister, Mary Gravitt McBee (Ralph), her brother Dan Gravitt (Lowetta), her nephew Dan McBee, and her great-niece, Catherine McBee. She is survived by her great nephew, Rush McBee (Candice).
Burial will be at Fain Cemetery in Calhoun, where a private memorial service will be held.
