Carolyn Anita Taylor

Carolyn Anita Taylor, 77, of Ranger, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026. She was born in Rome, Georgia, on November 3, 1948, to the late James and Kathleen O’Bryant.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Michael Taylor; sons, Jonathan (Melissa) Potts, Jordan (Coeetta) Potts; daughters, Kellye Potts, April (Jim) Crowder, Christy (Trey) Alexander; grandchildren, James Potts, Emma Potts, Karissa Potts, Kason Potts, Cameron Piggott, Cody Brown, Ansley Sloan, and Reece Alexander.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at South Calhoun Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM from South Calhoun Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Pace officiating. Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers serving are Mark Taylor, Jonathan Potts, Jordan Potts, Reece Alexander, Trey Alexander, and Cameron Piggott.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Carolyn’s memory.
