Carolyn Anita Taylor

Carolyn Anita Taylor, 77, of Ranger, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026. She was born in Rome, Georgia, on November 3, 1948, to the late James and Kathleen O’Bryant.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Michael Taylor; sons, Jonathon (Melissa) Potts, Jordon (Coweeta) Potts; daughters, Kelly Potts, April (Jim) Crowder, Christy (Trey) Alexander; grandchildren, James Potts, Emma Potts, Carrissa Potts, Cayson Potts, Camron Piggott, Cody Brown, Ansley Sloan, and Reece Alexander.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at South Calhoun Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM from South Calhoun Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Pace officiating. Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers serving are Mark Taylor, Jonathon Potts, Jordon Potts, Reece Alexander, Trey Alexander, and Camron Piggott.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Carolyn’s memory.
