Obituary

Carol Montgomery, 52, of Calhoun, Georgia died Sunday, August 8, 2021. She was born on January 6, 1969, in Gordon County to Dianne Weeks and the late Tommy Roden. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cecil and Clara Byars and Warner and Norma Jean Roden.
Carol worked at Walmart and was a very hard worker.
She is survived by her loving companion, Neal Huggins; son, Josh Montgomery; Mother, Diane (Jerry) Weeks; stepmother, Mary Roden; siblings, Gary Roden, Jeff Roden, Steven Roden, Warner Roden, Benita Roden, and Charlotte Roden; Joshs father, Lee Montgomery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral will follow the visitation at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Dewayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery. Pallbearers are, McCrea Nesbitt, Lee Ely, Justin Keller, Dylan Keller, Scott Byars, Timmy Cox, and Alex Kirby.
