Carlbert Henry Cox

Mr. Carlbert Henry Cox, age 79 of Calhoun, died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Erlanger Medical Center. He was born in Gordon County on January 18, 1935, son of the late John Henry and Bertie Sue Junkins Cox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Matthew Cox and Doyle Cox; and a sister, Marie Silvers.

He leaves behind his wife, Nancy J. Hancock Cox; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Beverly Cox of Fairmount; a daughter, Pamela Anderson of Calhoun; brothers, Hanlan Cox of Dalton, Bill Cox of Calhoun, and Lloyd Cox and his wife Nina of Calhoun; a sister, Alma Baker of Calhoun; grandchildren, Chad Cochran, Brad Cochran, and Zachary Cochran; and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Eli and Emma Cochran, and Greyson Cochran. Cousins, nieces and nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Carlbert Henry Cox will be held Tuesday, November 25th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Johnson Cemetery in Fairmount. Pallbearers serving are Chad Cochran, Brad Cochran, Zachary Cochran, Matthew Sheriff, Bobby Patterson, and Henry Cox.

The Cox family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 24th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
