Obituary

Mrs. Carla Summer Knight-Davis, 41, of the Dews Pond Community, Calhoun, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Emory Medical Center in Decatur, GA., after several weeks of declining health.
She was born on June 8, 1980, in Dalton, Georgia, the daughter of Ira Lee Knight and Carla Ruth Quinn Knight. She was a Radiology Technician having worked at Polk County Medical Center, was a member of the 1998 Graduating class of Northern Nash Senior High School in Rocky Mount, NC.and was a graduate of Georgia Northwestern Technical College as a Licensed Radiology Technician.
She is survived by her family that she dearly loved, her husband of 13 years, Anthony Davis of Calhoun; her three daughters whom she adored, Breeanna Rayne Knight-Newport and her husband Douglas of Calhoun, Makinsey Brynn Dennis of Calhoun and Caylan Elizabeth Davis of Calhoun; parents, Ira Lee and Carla Ruth Knight; sister, Christa Leigh Rasar and her husband Michael of Chatsworth, GA; brother, Nathaniel Brittan Knight of Resaca, GA along with other relatives.
It was Mrs. Knight's choice to be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a 'Go Fund Me' account has been set up by her daughter, Breeanna Newport to assist the family with medical expenses or you can click on the Donation tab at the top of the obituary and the family will recieve the funds.
