Obituary

Brinda Gail Thomas Wilson, 71, of Ranger, Georgia died Wednesday, July 21, 2021, after several years of declining health. She was born on August 19, 1949, in Rome, Georgia to the late William Burgess and Arvie Velma Mincey Thomas. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Renee Wilson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry Allan and Ellen Thomas, William Calvin and Shirley Thomas, James Clifford, and Evelyn Thomas; sisters and brother-in-law, Doris Cox, Margie, and Bob Peppers, Virginia Thomas and Jr Rogers, Ciara Nell and JC Shaw, Linda Carol and Wayne Hunt. Sister-in-law, Dorothy Thomas; brothers-in-law, Robert Paris and Ronald Turner. Her passion was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, James David Wilson Sr; son, James David Wilson Jr; daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Michael Holder, and Tiffany and Jason Duncan; brothers and sister-in-law, John Paul Thomas, Jimmy Martin Thomas, and his wife Marie, and Larry Clinton Thomas; sisters, Barbara Ann Thomas and Judy Faye Thomas; grandchildren, Tiffany Duncan, Zachary (Paige) Holder, Zane(Jessica)Holder, and Michaela Holder; great-grandchildren, Jace Duncan, Colton Holder, Jaylin Duncan, Dawson Duncan, Connor Holder, Josie Duncan, and Claire Holder; several friends and other relatives also survive.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 1:00 PM until the service hour of 3:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM from the graveside at Fain Cemetery with Rev. Jason Duncan and Rev. John Dorsey officiating. Pallbearers are Lane Tow, Michael Thomas, Zachary Holder, Zane Holder, Jason Duncan, and Michael Holder.
