Brie Louise Franklin Higdon, 44, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Emory Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was born in Cobb County, Georgia, on March 23, 1978, to Greg and Beverly Olson Franklin.
Brie lived in Gordon County for most of her life. She was a member of the 1996 graduating class of Calhoun High School, where she was a member of the Chorus, an avid Georgia Bulldog fan, and an Atlanta Falcons fan. She was employed by Walgreens in Calhoun as a Pharmacy Tech.
In addition to her parents, Brie is survived by her loving husband, Tony Higdon; sons, Austin Webb and Kyle (Chasity) Higdon; siblings, Andrew Franklin and Emily Franklin; grandchildren, Luke Webb, Kade Higdon, and Emmalynn Higdon; nieces and nephews, Tripp and Talan Smith, Luci Petterson, and Olson Franklin.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Dr. John Barber officiating. A private graveside service will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Ranger, GA. Pallbearers are Tripp Smith, Talan Smith, Pepper Wissinger, Steve Albano, James Cornett, and James Bell. Kyle Higdon will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Brie Louise Franklin Higdon.
