Obituary

Mr. Brian Keith Ray, 49, of Rydal, Georgia, passed away suddenly, Saturday, August 27, 2022, from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Brian was born in Atlanta, Georgia on Feb 26, 1973, the son of Robert Edmond "Pete" Ray and Patricia Faye Pearson Ray.
Brian was an avid sports fan and loved watching and supporting the Atlanta Falcons, Georgia Bulldogs, and the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed the years of coaching youth baseball, fishing, and challenging his brother to a game of Ping Pong. He was employed by Shaw Industries in Cartersville for the past 15 years and enjoyed being around his Shaw family. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Robert Edmond "Pete" and Patricia Faye Pearson Ray; sister, Jeanne Bradbury and her husband Dan; brother, Ron Ray; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Lee and her husband David, Easton Ray, Tanner Ray; great niece and nephew, Lexi Lee and Christian Lee.
A service to celebrate Brians life will be held on Friday, September 2nd at 11:00 AM at Concord Baptist Church, 9414 Fairmount Hwy SE, Fairmount, Georgia. Bro Randy Sutherland and Bro. Mike Janow will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include, Ron Ray, Easton Ray, Tanner Ray, Eddie Ray, Kevin Ray, and Logan Medley.
The Ray family will receive friends on Thursday, September 1st between the hours of 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM at Concord Baptist Church.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Brian Keith Ray.
