Obituary

Brett "Spike" Johnson, 49, of Ranger, Georgia died Sunday, August 1, 2021, after several years of declining health. He was born on February 10, 1972, in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Reuben Sr. and Earlene Allen, and Gus and Bonnie Johnson; aunt, Renea Johnson; uncle, Ronnie Johnson.
Brett was a truckdriver for Ken Johnson Trucking for many years. He was a jack of all trades. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Randy Johnson, and Marcella Allen Johnson; sister, Angel (DeWayne) Dowdy; nieces, Maddy (Michael) Page and Kinley Avans; great nephew, Camden Page; aunts; Marie (Ken) Moorehead; uncles, Reuben Allen Jr and John (Diane) Frix; loving companion, Angie McElroy.
To honor his wishes his body was cremated and a memorial service will be August 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM from Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Johnson officiating.
