Obituary

Brenda Cox Reed, 80, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. She was born in Gordon County on August 4, 1942, to the late Robert L. and Nell Cox Harrison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tiny Jane and Walter Davis, Sanford and Ola Cox.
Brenda is survived by her sons, Kyle Roberts and Kris Roberts (Bridgett); brother, Bobby Cox; sister, Beverly Holland (Mike); grandchildren, Krystle Roberts Rudy, Bradley Roberts (Kaycie), Autumn Roberts, Dylan Roberts (Andrea), Cierra Webb, Tyler Webb (Ashton), and Taylor Webb; great-grandchildren, Mason Marion, Sylas Gommer, Maycie Roberts, Keaton, and Brantley Achord, Ian Roberts, Isaiah Roberts, Blair Roberts, Emmalyn and Dawson Webb, Savannah-Rae Marion, and Ethan Rudy; and friend and father of her children, Marvin Roberts.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons, with Rev. Joey Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Dylan Roberts, Bradley Roberts, Mike Holland, Craig Smith, Kevin Smith, and Kenneth Moss.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
